In particular, floor areas of heavy footfall will not wear these tiles - the very nature of the porcelain production process means the tiles are very, very hard-wearing.Porcelain tiles are manufactured from extremely pure clay naturally enriched with minerals, the tiles are shaped by dry pressing and then fired at very high temperatures (1250C).
